Irina My Lindqvist
Formgivare och konsthantverkare med passion för fantasi, lekfullhet och detaljer. Irina My arbetar med design,unik glaskonst, väggskulpturer och offentliga uppdrag. Hennes arbete inkluderar materialen glas – blåst, fusing, och flameworked, trä, keramik, betong och ljus. Inspirerad av naturen, gammal visdom, Art Noveau, musik och livet självt har Irina My´s arbete ett narrativt och färgstarkt uttryck ofta med ett inneboende budskap som hon vill förmedla. - Jag arbetar med glaset som en slags tredimensionell målarduk i en egenutvecklad graalteknik. Teckningar, texter och bilder i lager på lager, likt collage innesluts i glaset och ger föremålen en ytterligare dimension. Därtill skulpterade former förenar budskap, form och uttryck. - Budskap och historier om verkligheten och drömmar. With passion for imagination, playfulness and details Irina My work with design, unique glassart, wall sculptures and public art commissions. Her work include materials as glass – handblown, fused, flameworked, wood, ceramics, concrete and light. Inspired by nature, old poetry, Art Noveau, music and life it self Irina My´s work has an colourfull, narrative expression where she aimes to communicate – subjects as memories, life and wisdom. - I work with glass as a three dimensional canvas in a unique graal technique.
