””FOOTSTEPS” is a collaboration with artist glassblower Richard Rackham. ”Footsteps” is a glowing glass object for the outdoor environment, that in a playful way shows you the path. Every ”Footstep” is a single object. I work in a vibrant material with high quality craftsmanship. The starting point is the motion and irregularities in the material.”

”I am a craft artist with a special interest in textiles. Since some years now I make lamps for in synthetic fabrics. I have a master degree in product design and like to work directly in the material. I dye all fabrics and sew the shades stich by stitch. Every lamp have the unique expression of the handmade. I come up with solutions for the specific space. The technique is called shibori after the Japanese word for pressure, tilt, and clamp; a way of making patterns on textile surfaces in a dying process."

Holographic Glass Art - To tile with the light. The glass tile absorbs the light, and emits the whole rainbow spectrum, both indoors and outdoors. My great interest and inspiration is light in all its accents. I have studied and experimented with light since five years, mainly with materials like acrylic, glass crystal, ledlight acrylic, mirrors and holography.

Glass artist, working primarily within the field of public art.

”I am interested in simple elements and the excitement that is generated when a large number of them are repeated and subsequently react together as a group, resulting in new patterns and constellations. My work is also about making experiments and by using its actual weight creating a feeling of lightness in the glass itself.”

"I work with glass design I fields of architecture, illumination, art and glassware. The interaction of light, glass and space interests me, its
transparency and optical properties animates shadows and gives the
glass weight, depth and changing perspectives. The objects are on
their way to some other place, fragments of something larger and
perhaps affected by something threatening ...

"Clay is my material. I love colours and intricate colour/pattern combinations. Coarse terracotta clay, layers of rich bright-coloured glazes, splashes of oxide, screen printing, photo transfers and gold luster give my work a contrasting energy and a generous, radiant impression. The mark of the hand is essential.

I work with wall designs and unique objects for public spaces and private homes in conjunction with the preconditions of the location in order to create a specific atmosphere or a central visual point in the room. The wall pieces consist of handmade clay parts/tiles where each unit plays its roll. The unique objects can for instance be a series of full-scale cocktail dresses in clay which was my latest project. The format is often large and the details are decisive for the whole."

“I’ve been working with ceramics since 1996, both with design and studio production, for private use as well as public. In this context I am showing a transparent façade built from numerous ceramic modules. The ceramic structure shows several dimensions, the cut edges forms one surface while the hollow spaces creates a depth that catches the light in different ways depending on the visual angle. The shape and placing of the modules in combination with the repetitive structure interacts with the surrounding architecture, forming a transparent façade that mirrors and reflects it surroundings.”

"Silverlining" Large scale ceramics in structures that repeat.
